A GLIMPSE INTO MY LIFE

Hi!

Thank you so much for visiting my art portfolio. My name is Marci Lammers, and I am a senior studying Graphic Design with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri.

As an artist, I explore visual storytelling through photography, videography, and graphic design, with a focus on portraiture, sports, and branding. I am drawn to clean, informative design and imagery that communicates clearly while still capturing emotion and movement.

Whether I am behind a camera or designing logos, brand guidelines, or informational posters, I use visual media to create intentional, accessible, and engaging work that connects people, preserves meaningful moments, and tells stories that impact a wide range of audiences.

Boys & Girls Club

Social Media Intern

Through photography and visual storytelling, I document the everyday energy and impact of the Boys & Girls Club community. From major events like the Chili Cook-Off and Black History Month Celebration to moments within afterschool programs such as High Steppers and the recording studio, my work highlights youth creativity, mentorship, and community connection. I collaborate with staff to capture authentic moments that reflect the Club’s mission while producing social media content that shares these stories with a broader audience.

Show-Me State Games

Sports Media Intern

I photograph, edit, and deliver images across a variety of indoor and outdoor sporting environments. I also collaborate with event staff to ensure thorough visual coverage and imagery that aligns with the organization’s media and promotional needs.

Columbia College Athletics

Sports Media Intern

As the Sports Media Intern at Columbia College, I create photography, videography, and graphics for social media and print, covering a variety of athletic programs. I combine creative storytelling with clear communication, aligning all content with the athletic department’s brand guidelines to engage audiences and showcase the energy and achievements of our teams.

The Catholic Newman Center

Graphic Design & Communications

I worked with the Newman Center’s communications team to create visual materials for their bi-annual retreats. For the spring 2025 retreat, I designed the T-shirt and photographed the weekend, and for the fall 2025 retreat, I designed the official logo. Across both projects, I focused on understanding each retreat’s theme and translating it into clear, meaningful designs.

Columbia College

Campaign Organizer & Social Media Coordinator

As a student-led Campaign Organizer and Social Media Coordinator for Columbia College’s Giving Day, I led a team of five peers to plan and execute a campus-wide campaign. I conducted audience research through a survey mass emailed to students, created and scheduled social media content, and attended events to set up informational booths that guided and encouraged student participation. Collaborating closely with College staff, I ensured every aspect of the campaign reflected the College’s mission, telling a story of student leadership, community engagement, and the impact of giving.

By designing a wide range of promotional products—such as garments, pens, water bottles, tents, bags, and more—I gained hands-on experience with printing processes, screen production, artistic proofs, and the attention to detail needed to translate digital designs into high-quality physical product.

The Catholic Newman Center

Graphic Design & Communications

As a founder and member of The Blue Print, Columbia College’s student-run design agency, I helped generate the business name, produce the logo, and establish the agency’s vision. We work directly with clients to analyze their brands and create tailored visual solutions.
