ADOBE DIMENSION

For my Corporate Identity class, I designed a coffee bag and coffee sleeve for a fictional brand geared toward marketing and networking professionals. I used a monochromatic palette of brown tones to convey sophistication and elegance, incorporated the “C” as a coffee bean shape, and included imagery that reflects connection and networking. The design balances aesthetic appeal with conceptual storytelling, aligning the brand’s visual identity with its professional focus.

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

For the Fish Tank entrepreneurship pitch event at Columbia College, the director of the Steven and Barbara Fishman Center for Entrepreneurship approached Columbia College’s student-run design agency, The Blue Print, seeking a logo that felt energetic and symbolic of the event’s competitive spirit.

My design is centered on expressive typography and symbolism. I warped the word “fish” into the shape of a fish, allowing the type itself to become the visual mark. The word “tank” was curved around the fish form to create an encompassing shape, symbolizing a fish tank. A hook element leads the viewer’s eye downward through the composition and subtly forms a bullseye, reinforcing themes of focus, drive, and pitching with purpose. Vibrant colors were incorporated to enhance the energy and excitement of the event.

The final logo was selected in partnership with another designer from The Blue Print, making this project a total collaborative achievement.

CANVA

A client approached Columbia College’s design agency seeking a logo and brand guide for their small, family-owned farm. I developed a visual identity using a blue color palette inspired by her cyanotype art practice.

I designed a plant icon for the logo to ensure the logo could evolve as the farm expands its crop offerings. The oval form references traditional produce stickers, grounding the design in the agricultural space.

While my final logo was not selected, the project strengthened my experience in client collaboration, concept development, and brand guideline creation.

ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS

As part of Columbia College’s Graphic Design class, our group created a student-run design agency. I proposed the name The Blue Print, which was unanimously chosen. My logo — incorporating a subtle “C” to reference Columbia College — received the most votes for its thoughtful, cohesive design.

The Newman Center needed a logo for their fall retreat, themed Completely One. The team requested a design inspired by the Patagonia brand, aiming for an aesthetic that reflected the retreat’s spirit. I designed a logo that evokes adventure and unity, capturing the spirit of the retreat while maintaining a calming, contemporary design.
